Pellerin Rd Playstreet

Dear neighbours,

I’m just writing to let you know that a few Pellerin Rd residents have managed to get Hackney Council to approve a series of Pellerin Rd Play Street days. These are short road closures that give children the chance to play safely out in the street, and for neighbours to get together. (Read more about Play Streets) 😃

The first will happen this Sunday 16th, between 3-5pm. Following that there will be one on the last Sunday of each month. (you may have already seen the attached flyer)

The invitation is open to everyone on Pellerin Rd (incl Lydford Close and Shellgrove Estate, plus Salcombe Rd, Truman Rd, Barretts Grove, etc)  It’s a fantastic chance for us all to meet and get to know the neighbours in our lovely community!   🙂

  • come, with or without kids, meet your neighbours and have a cup of tea
  • you don’t need to move your car, unless you want to
  • bring your scooters, bikes, skipping ropes, chalks or hula hoops, and anything else fun to play in the street!

Can you help steward?
If you can help with stewarding on the day, please email Vikki (86), Lucy & Gabriella (78) at pellerinplaystreet@gmail.com to let them know.

Please join the Facebook Event to let us know if you’re coming, and ‘like’ the Pellerin Road Play Street Facebook page to stay in the loop and share the photos etc afterwards.

We provide aprofessionalcleaning servicetailored toyour needs.
